Nayeon from TWICE (트와이스 나연) is back with a new single, 'ABCD' from her second mini-album NA, showcasing significant growth over the past two years.
Many of you have requested an analysis of the lyrics, so let’s dive into it! 😍
I) About the Song & Artist
The title track, “ABCD” showcases Nayeon's fresh image, inspired by 2000s American vibes and outfits from Beyoncé and Britney Spears. 🪩
It narrates a love story with a touch of hip-hop, blending pop-dance rhythms and tones that highlight Nayeon's charisma. With its strong rhythm, dynamic arrangement, alphabet-themed lyrics, and groovy performance, it’s poised to be a summer hit for 2024. ☀️

The chorus is the part that got us most hooked, thanks to the smart mix of letters in English, indicating the title of the song 'ABCD' and opening up a guide to falling in love. ❤️

How to fall in love, 가르쳐 줄게 | gareuchyeo julke | It’s the combination of 가르치다 (To teach) with the grammar -어 주다 which is a structure used to express doing something for someone else It ends with -게, which indicates intention or future action. |
